Anita Barone

Barone appeared as Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the episode from season 4. She wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. In the 90s early on, she appeared regularly in Carol & Company as a co-star alongside Carol Burnett. Barone performed the role of the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller on the show's first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her part after Barone quit the show in order to concentrate on working full-time. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995-1996) as well as on The War at Home from 2005 between 2005 and the year 2007. Then, in 2000 Barone played a part in The sitcom Daddio. Barone has also appeared in Desperate housewives, Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not disturb Ally McBeal Caroline In The City Party of Five, The Larry Sanders Show and Desperately Housewives. The film she acted in, One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. The following year, three years following the time that The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone was cast in a regular role on Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
