In the Guiding Light soap production, she appeared as Marina Cooper. This role brought her an award nomination by Soap Opera Digest in 2003, for the Outstanding newcomer. Dollar played in ABC's Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 between 2007 and the year 2008. The actress was on her 2012 NBC Pilot Happy Valley but it was not picked-up.
